We didn't understand the story, and every corner was pitch black.
In the beginning, Diablo was terror of the unknown. Unfortunately, they did not think about the story, the lore, and the original reason why Diablo invoked terror. You might ask "How?! Didn't they use blood, altars, sacrifices, human flesh, eerie voices, dread-inducing music and a scary demon at the end?" Despite it being a cinematic masterpiece, I don't think whoever came up with this idea fully understands what Diablo is, or rather was, about.ĭiablo was a game about Terror, and they have missed the mark again.
